Not everybody is going to be pleased

I'm just going to get in early here: when we get to the voting stage and all the final nominees are revealed, not everybody is going to be pleased. There will probably be a shitstorm about a few different omissions / inclusions.

If you want to bitch or >imply implications, go ahead, but not a single fuck will be given that day.
If you want to offer proper criticism, I will take it on board, as long as the level of discourse is higher than a typical primary school play ground.

If you want to take the latter route, send an email to [email protected] or post a topic in the forum. We will listen.

Hey, I'm fucking chipper. Someone listened to me regarding El Shaddai for best aesthetics.

i don't agree with all the nominations, but the process and results have been way better than any other awards could be. i'm happy with the result and think it is a fair representation of /v/ this year - on with the show!

Just voted. Let me share my experience.
There were a few of the categories that were very tough choices; the Activision award for example.

I'm hoping next year will see more categories.
Things that get into the more technical aspects of the games rather than the kind of playful nature it was this year.
The real crime is that this is the first time these awards have been had and all the past years go unchecked.

I think the categories were good.

I do think Skyrim should have had an award for best music, Jeremy Soule is very good, if a little generic. I'd still vote for Deus Ex anyway, but still...

Other than that I'm pleased.

I have nowhere else to put this but why isn't whoever played Alice in Monster Girl Quest on the ballot for Golden Voice Award?

Absolutely fine with the categories, nominations, etc. etc.. Only concern is that Dark Souls is gonna win everything. But then again, OPINIONS MANG (even though it's the rehashiest of rehashes)
